The first official work day of a New Year- Yippee! Like you, I am so glad to put 2020 behind me.
My most productive undertaking during this holiday season ( in addition to binge watching Bridgerton) was the shredding of 10 boxes of old files (from 2010 and earlier), cleaning up of my desk and office space and the decision to get a new ergonomic desk and chair.
While clearing up my space, I found all of my note books since starting Elder Caring in 2004. As I reread my ‘to do’ lists, ideas and reviewed earlier presentations made to law firms, financial organization and community groups, I realize that my message has not changed very much. Caregivers need support, our public system continues to struggle, housing for seniors needs a very different approach, and most of all- don’t wait to think about what YOU want and at the top of the list is the need to discuss these issues with your family / close friends and ensure that your critical paperwork is in place.
While reflecting I realize that Covid has reaffirmed that these remain as key messages and are even more relevant today.
I also realize that the need for guidance and elder care advice is widely needed and consumers are recognizing that paying for this expert advice is really a very small price to pay.
As I greet 2021 with open arms I want to thank you and also share a gift. For readers of this blog and for a limited time, I am offering a complimentary download of my Wellness Binder™.
Start 2021 in an organized and proactive way. The Wellness Binder will help you to do so. Your family and friends will be glad you did. I certainly will be glad you did as I hope it can get you started on the right foot. Happy New Year.
If you are interested, please send me an email (or call me) and I will provide the details.
