April Fools’ Day – A Lesson for the Entire Year

Written on April 1, 2013 – 8:20 am | by Justin de Vries

Today is April Fools’ Day and I would be a fool to blog; you wouldn’t know if I was serious or frivolous. Charles Dickens wrote “… the law is a ass—a idiot [sic]“, but the law should never be fooled with and it is the fool who litigates without caution or remorse. I will leave you with these pearls of wisdom:

Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.
-Abraham Lincoln

A fool thinks himself to be wise, but a wise man knows himself to be a fool.
-William Shakespeare

Life is a dream for the wise, a game for the fool, a comedy for the rich, a tragedy for the poor.
-Sholom Aleichem

Thanks for reading and don’t litigate like a fool.
